Factory

The ReachOut Factory is an optional tool offered to Campaign Managers in order to package the Beta Version of the software to be tested.

ReachOut Factory in a nutshell

The ReachOut Factory provides a self-service way to:

• create an "Appliance Template" which is a meta-data description of an entire software stack
• add your software as components attached to the Appliance Template
• share the Appliance Template with Beta Testers
  • either by exporting the Appliance Template, and then sharing the Appliance Template with Beta Testers
  • or generating a machine image from the Appliance Template, and then sharing that machine image with Beta Testers

How to access the ReachOut Factory

The ReachOut Factory UI is accessible here.

Authentication is done using the credentials provided when you register as a Campaign Managers.

For Beta Testers who do not have an account, the Factory login page provides a link to create an OW2 account which can then be used for authenticating with the Factory.
